Towtow is a common enemy found in the Subspace Emissary of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It first appears on the Sea of Clouds level and proceeds to appear in 9 levels after that, making it one of the more common enemies you face. Typically, when you come up on a Towtow, it will be sleeping peacefully and have a white face. However, once awakened, a Towtow will go into a rage and charge relentlessly at any fighter it sees. It can be awakened by attacks or even just nearby noises. When awakened, a Towtow will have an angry, red face as seen in the image to the right. It is highly advised to charge up a Smash Attack to full power if you can catch one sleeping. Otherwise, just use quick, precise attacks to defeat it quickly without taking too much damage. Alternatively, you can try to sneak around the backside of one and let it be. An awakened Towtow will eventually go back to sleep if left undisturbed for a short time. It shows electricity when awakened and charging, but do not be intimidated as the electricity is simply just for show and causes no damage. The "*" next to The Ruined Zoo level denotes that Towtow only appears on that level when the difficulty level is set to Hard or higher.
 Trophy Description
"A giant, ramlike enemy and member of the Subspace Army. A Towtow looks adorable while sleeping, but when it's awakened, its angelic face changes dramatically. The features turn to demonic nastiness, and the Towtow's body turns bright red as it readies to ram you. Perhaps a result of its tantrum- hindered fashion sense, the Towtow sports a pompadour when angry."
It is quite possible that the Towtow is based off of Grizzo, a character from the Kirby series. Like Towtow, the Grizzo would commonly be found sleeping, but become extremely angry when awakened.
