[edit] Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U

Bullet Bill is one of the items appearing in Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U versions.

[edit] Item Effect

Using this item transforms you into a Bullet Bill which flies into the direction you aim towards at the time of activation, damaging enemies in your path.

[edit] Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Bullet Bill appears as an enemy in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

[edit] Subspace Emissary

Bullet Bills are common enemies found in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subpsace Emissary. They first appear on The Jungle level and proceed to appear in 5 other levels. These enemies are shot from cannons that are never shown on-screen and will continue their travel until they either hit the character, hit the ground, or are hit hard enough to be destroyed. Actual Bill Blasters are only seen once in the game. In the opening cut-scene for The Jungle level, 3 Bullet Bills get fired at Donkey Kong, but his cousin, Diddy Kong shows up with his Peanut PopGun to take out all 3 of them. Some Bullet Bills will hone in on a character and just keep on following them no matter what. Although you can use reflector techniques to deflect the Bullet Bills, they will actually slowly get back on their previous course.
The Bullet Bill Cannon makes a cameo appearance in the background of the Mushroom Kingdom stage of Super Smash Bros., but it does nothing to influence battles that take place there.

[edit] Trophy Description

"A shell fired from a special cannon known as a Bill Blaster. Easily identified by their angry eyes, Bullet Bills fly across the land in perfectly straight lines. Though they easily shrug off fireballs, they can be stopped by jumping on them. A unique characteristic of the cannons is that they will not fire a Bullet Bill if Mario is standing right beside one."

[edit] Trivia

  • Despite the fact that you can jump on Bullet Bills to defeat them in the Mario Series, you actually take damage from jumping on them in the Subspace Emissary, and they aren't destroyed.
  • The Banzai Bill trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee is accidentally named the Bullet Bill trophy.
