Appearances
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)
Moves
Young Links moves are extremely similar to Link. He has a few differences that you should keep in mind. Advantages: He is faster than Link, boomerang and arrow are stronger (Arrow is changed to fire arrow), Bomb does more damage, Young Link can wall jump, he also has a better combo ability, and better spikes. Disadvantages: He has a smaller range (Includign throw range), Less power, and weaker throws.
Inclusion in Melee
Young Link was included as Link's clone. Giving players the opportunity to switch between the two depending on there strategies.
Exclusion from Brawl
Young Link was excluded from Brawl, and was replaced my Toon Link. Toon Link is almost his exact double, except he is cell-shaded. There are very little differences between Toon Link and Young Link. Toon Link was put in, for being the new Link icon for 2002-present.
