Role in SSE
Spoilers
R.O.B.'s role in the Subspace Emissary is something hardly any of us would have expected. He plays the role of the Ancient Minister, the one in charge of the subspace bombs. He feels sorrowful with the task he must do, sending R.O.B.s to activate bombs, only for them to meet their doom. When he gets a little too soft at the bomb factory, Ganondorf takes charge and commands the R.O.B.'s to start the bombs. He attempts to stop them, but does so unsuccessfully and is attacked by them, burning his robes and showing he is R.O.B. as Ganondorf has full control.
