Pokémon Stadium 2 is a Pokémon themed stage. It makes its first appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and is a new version of Pokémon Stadium. The stage is medium sized , but is also very unique. The stage changes after a set amount of time and has "Electric", "Ground", "Flying" and "Ice" terrains. Although this is an upgraded version of Pokémon Stadium, it did not replace it. Unlike Pokemon Stadium, this stage has some Pokemon.

Terrain Changes

Electric

In this change, there are three small platforms above, with conveyor belts trying to push the player off the stage. The Pokemon that appear here are ELECTIVIRE and MAGNEZONE.

Ground

In this change, there is a mountain on the stage. There also is a small digging site where players can jump on small platforms. DUGTRIO and CUBONE can be seen in this stage.

Flying

In this change, Windmills in the background cause all players' jumping abilities to raise. This makes it look like players are floating, and they fall down gently. Unlike the other arenas, this one has three Pokemon instead of just two. They're SKARMORY, HOPPIP and DRIFLOON.

Ice

In this change, the floor is made of ice, which makes the players slip and slide on the ground. In the background, there is a frozen old house and a small chunk of ice. Like the previous, this one also contains Pokemon. SNOVER and SNORUNT are the ones who appear here.
