Background
The Pokéball is a small device used to capture Pokémon. It has made an appearance in every single Pokémon game to date, and all 3 of the games in the Smash Bros. Series. To use a Pokéball, you simply pick it up with the basic attack button, and throw it with the throw button, or basic attack button. After throwing, it will release a Pokémon, who will aid you in battle by harming your opponent. There appearances are completely random.
