The Motion-Sensor Bomb is an item that has found its way into all the installments of Super Smash Bros. In earlier games the description of what game the item came from was classified. This item has functioned the same in all three games, working, as the name implies, as a proximity explosive. They can be placed on a stage at any point, even walls, and left there. If an opponent (or even the player that threw it) approaches it, it will explode.
