The Fighting Polgon Team were the army you had to face when playing Classic Mode. They resembled the playable characters, but they were colored purple and seemed robot-like. Their movesets mimiced the character they resembled. You had to face thirty of them before advancing to fight Master Hand.

Polygons were later replaced by Wire Frames and Alloys.
