Main Article

Electrode is an Electric-Type Pokémon native to the Kanto region. Electrode stores electricity inside itself, which can cause it to move faster as well as explode. It often explodes at a moment's notice, if it be for amusing itself or from the slightest disturbance. Because of its explosive nature, it has been nicknamed 'The Bomb Ball'. It evolves from Voltorb at Level 30.

[edit] Stage Hazard

In Super Smash Bros., Electrode would sometimes appear on the Saffron City stage and explode. From Melee onwards, Electrode would become one of the Poké Ball Pokémon.

[edit] Effect

Once released, Electrode will begin to explode. It can be picked up and thrown a few seconds before it explodes. The explosion will hurt anyone, even the person who released Electrode.

Sometimes Electrode won't explode right away, but don't be fooled, as it will regroup and explode after a few seconds!
