[edit] Background

Dr. Mario made his debut on the NES with the original Dr. Mario game. He was an available character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. In Melee, he was a 'character clone' of Mario, with essentially no differences between the two aside from outfit and choice of projectiles. While Dr. Mario does not make an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a playable character, he is one of the Forbidden Seven.

He does return in Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U however, becoming the first character to return to the series after appearing in one game but not appearing in the next.

[edit] Gameplay

[edit] Pros

  • Hard to knock of stage, due to heaviness
  • Strong Attacks
  • Easy to Manage and Control
  • Can repeatedly attack other characters giving little to no time to recover

[edit] Cons

  • Slow movements
  • Moves are not varied
  • Bad Recoveries

[edit] Strategies

[edit] Special Moves

Basically like Marios FireBall attack. Although it has a higher flinch.

[edit] Super Sheet

Mario's Magic Cape, except white. Used to send back projectiles.

[edit] Super Jump Punch

Same as Mario's Coin Jump.

[edit] Dr. Tornado

Red Tornado, except a little slower.
