Cruel Brawl

Cruel Brawl is one of the modes in Multi-man Brawl. It is the hardest mode. Cruel Brawl first appeared in Super Smash Bros. Melee and reappears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In this mode, you only have one life, like in other modes. The difference is that the enemies that the player faces kill you in almost one hit every time. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, the enemies were the Fighting Wire Frames. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the enemies are the Fighting Alloys.

Strategies

Ike: He can kill a decent amount of Fighting Alloys in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. First you grab on to the ledge. Then you lure them out by jumping away from the ledge. If you go too far though, you could fall down and be eliminated. When one of the Alloys come toward you, use Aether and pull them down, while you hang back on the ledge to use this strategy again and again. The Green Alloy that is made to copy Kirby could come back though because of Kirby's amazing jumping abilities.

Kirby: Grab the ledge as quick as you can at the start. Wait until they all crowd around you then drop off. Jump from left to right, left to right and some of them will jump off. Now, when facing the ledge use Kirby's UP B and grab the ledge. The red,yellow and blue alloys will not make it back up and you will live. I acheived 15 kills by doing this, which does all of the cruel brawl challenges.

If you kill 5 alloys in Cruel Brawl, You unlock the Yellow Alloy Trophy.
