Brinstar is a stage from the Metroid series. It first appeared in Super Smash Bros Melee then reappeared in Super Smash Bros Brawl as one of the returning melee stages. The tentacles holing up the platforms on the left and right can be broken, causing the platforms to tilt up for a while, and the logs in the middle of the stage can be broken temporarily splitting the stage in two. Sometimes the acid will rise forcing you on the higher platforms, this can be useful as sometimes it will save you from falling to your doom however the acid is also damaging and will kill you at higher percentages
