 Item Effect
The Banana Peel is an item that is quite common in Mario and Donkey Kong games. This item is thrown to control the stage. When thrown, it causes the player hit to trip. It can also be lane on the stage to do the same thing when thrown. Diddy Kong can also use this item as his down B move and produce a banana peel. He can then toss a banana peel on the ground and can throw up to 2 banana peels on the stage at a time only. The banana peel can be picked up off the ground by any player, and can be used for their own uses.
This item is more of an annoyance than anything else. As long as you weren't the last one to throw it, you can be affected by this item. When using it to your advantage, try and attack someone right as they slip on it. Although it doesn't increase the power of your attack, the opponent will have no chance to defend themselves as they slip on the Banana. Be careful though, as, if you weren't the last one to throw it, the Banana Peel could head your way and cause you to slip as well. When trying to avoide a Banana Peel, just keep a safe distance away from it. Once thrown, the Banana Peel stays stationary where it lands until someone slips on it. If someone has it in their hand, the Banana Peel won't fly far so just keep a decent distance between yourself and the person holding it.
